Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Because our products are instant digital downloads, the policy below explains when refunds are and are not available.

All Sales Final

Once a download link has been issued, the product is considered delivered and all sales are final. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, accidental purchase, or because the data on a particular college turned out to be different from what you hoped to find.

When We Will Make It Right

If you have a genuine delivery problem, we will fix it. Examples:

  • You completed checkout but never received the download email (and it isn't in your spam folder).
  • Your download link returned an error before the file ever opened.
  • The file you received is corrupted or unreadable.
  • You were charged twice for the same product.

In these cases we will reissue your download or, if we cannot deliver the product to you, provide a full refund.

How to Request Help

Email support@collegecostscompared.com within 14 days of your purchase and include:

  • The email address you used at checkout.
  • The product you purchased.
  • A short description of the problem.

We aim to respond within two business days. If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days.

Update Pass

If you purchased the optional 2-Year Update Pass and decide you no longer want it, contact us within 14 days of purchase. The Update Pass is refundable on the same delivery-failure basis as the underlying product. Once an updated file has been emailed to you under the pass, the update has been delivered and is non-refundable.

Chargebacks

Please reach out to us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — most issues can be resolved within a day or two by email, and a chargeback can prevent us from helping you. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension and revocation of any active download links.
